Adam Lambert and Cook changed Idol because both had a plan every week and sang songs that we didn't expect from them and Adam had killer vocals, also both Lambert and Cook came across as nice and had manners and were very respectful to the judges and they always thanked the band after every performance, people noticed Lambert and Cook. Maybe future contestants should watch the episodes of Idol that Lambert and Cook were on,they might learn something on how to be an artist.
I agree. I became a fan of Cook early on. I also like Daughtry before that. But Lambert blew me away because you never knew what you were getting. And, after 40 plus years of hearing the best voices in musical theatre and never seeing them get recognition, I was glad when Adam showed up. Idol has never been the same. Adam has had some issues, but everyone claims he is so nice and easy to work with. Ricky Minor and Michael Orland from IDOL agree.
Adam Lambert completely changed Idol. The look of the contestants' performamces has even changed thanks to his use of staging and lighting not to mention most aspects of performing as well.
Biggest Idol game changers (2), in my opinion, both belong to Adam Lambert. Many may say it was his jaw dropping performance of Ring Of Fire. But I'd have to say it was Mad World. That performance was so mesmerizing and stunning. It forever changed the stage presence of contestants, in terms of lighting, stage effects, etc. That said, no one can match his vocals. Again, that's my opinion.
One of? Which other contestant on that show, before or since, has been as exciting?
ReplyDeleteAdam is the only one, in my opinion. Others pale in comparison. End of story.
