(New York – NY) Global superstar Adam Lambert will release his highly anticipated second album TRESPASSING (RCA Records / 19 Entertainment) on March 20th, 2012. The album’s first single “Better Than I Know Myself” will be made available for sale on December 20th at iTunes and all digital music providers.
On December 20th, fans who pre-order TRESPASSING from Adam's website, http://www.AdamOfficial.com will also receive an instant MP3 download of his new single "Better Than I Know Myself." Fans who pre-order from the store will also have first access to exclusive album configurations and upgrades.
Lambert describes TRESPASSING, which he executive produced as "an exciting journey through the past two years of my life. It's been a transformative period and I really wanted to make music from what I've experienced. All these songs honestly explore the ups and downs of my reality."

ADAM LAMBERT: Rumors, Speculation And More...
ADAM FANS... here's what I know, and since RCA didn't bring a press release today, as I expected they would, you can take it for what it is - a gathering of things heard from different sources over the last two weeks...
I'm hearing the single release date in the US to radio is 12/18. Yes. That's a Sunday. It coincides with - I'm told - an overseas date that Lambert will be performing at. Perhaps a fan can dig into this and let me know the specifics on this performance, etc.
I also he's dropping the album single via iTUNES on 12/19, with, with wide release to follow, on the 20th, which is a Tuesday when all new music "releases" but am not certain that won't change.
With label marketing plans, things are always subject to change. Especially release dates. I'm not sure the people I know are at 100 percent on what's going to happen, and they're all out of pocket today at JINGLE BALL in New York City...
That being said, if what I've gathered is true, then that means we're t-minus NINE days til US radio gets the single!

Last week was very very exciting in my little Glambert World… I got to hear the new Adam Lambert! (yes, the official one!) Adam’s record company came in to the station and played it for me in my office… but they are so secretive about it they won’t let me play it on the air yet… they won’t even let me say what it’s called! I did get permission, though, to send out a tweet (follow me here) saying that I’d heard it.
My twitter page crashed! I sent out ONE tweet with Adam’s name in it and I got so inundated with retweets, favorites, replies with questions, and new follow alerts, that my page couldn’t keep up. Adam’s fans around the world descended on my tiny little page. I had to break it to each of them that the ONLY info I am allowed to share is that I LOVED THE SONG… seriously it’s so good… but that’s the only detail I’m allowed to leak.
So, in honor of us waiting for the official details that we CAN release, let’s look back at my 2009 interview with Adam when he FIRST came through Oakland on the Idols tour. (the most commented-on part, through all of the 30K+ views, happens in the last 30 seconds) ☺

ADAM LAMBERT: New Song Is Mid Tempo, Showcases His Voice
So... here's what I can tell you about the new ADAM LAMBERT song...
It's mid-tempo. It really showcases his vocal ability. I heard it over the phone earlier today, and if you're expecting more of a club banger, this won't be it. Think WDYWFM and not IF I HAD YOU. It's really well done and radio types will say that we need a listen or two before we decide where it should live on stations across the country.
The thing is that the song really -- really -- does show off his singing ability. He's got a voice. He's not screaming, or wailing... he is showing the world he can really sing on this song.
The label asked me not to say the name of the single and they've asked me to not speculate on release date since the plans are literally changing daily at times. That being said, it should be out via digital release before Christmas, and I bet that in addition to Adam's tweets, you'll see official news from the label about the new CD and single from the label in the coming days.
